This is a special opportunity for our players to assist as the Urbana Park District's field crew prepares our field for play. Participants may help in surface preparation, lining, and equipment distribution.
If your player would like to participate, please be at the diamond by 5:00 so we can start promptly (and get games started on time). Players do not need to be scheduled to play on May 2 to participate.
Participantion is limited to registered players.
Come out to AMBUCS Park (our field) for another OPEN PRACTICE. Coaches will be onhand to work with players and batting, running bases, and fielding.
We will have balls, bats, helmets, and all other gear required, including loaner gloves, as needed. You do NOT need to wear your uniform (but you can if you want to show off!).

Come on out and show your stuff! Skills Day is an opportunity for the coaches to check players' skills as the players are put through basic running, throwing, and batting drills. Plus, you get to rub elbows with the TJCL committee members and coaches before the season begins!

Come at your leisure to 2212 Sangamon Drive in Champaign from 9:30-11:30. Without regard to any waiting lines, the drills generally take 15-20 minutes. Please come if you are able.
There is no pentalty for missing this event.
NOTE: A shortened game will be played followed by player award presentations. Feel free to visit the picnic at the adjacent Jean Driscoll Pavilion. Families are welcome to join in taking pictures and enjoying the picnic offerings.
